This prestigious award recognizes REALTOR® members who demonstrate exceptional leadership and commitment to advancing political initiatives that support the real estate industry and private property rights.
Todd Waller’s deep understanding of political affairs and unwavering commitment to advocacy makes him a powerful voice for REALTORS® and homeowners alike. His passion for political engagement began long before his real estate career, with early experience working in the State Senate and Representative offices, serving in the government affairs department of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Michigan, and as a field representative for the Michigan House Caucus Services. This strong foundation has shaped his lifelong dedication to advancing sound policies that support the real estate industry and property rights.
Within GMAR, Todd’s leadership and advocacy are far-reaching. He has served on several key committees, including Government Affairs, Government Relations, and the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC)—many for multiple years and often in chairing roles. As Vice Chair of GMAR’s Ann Arbor Area Chapter Advisory Board, he helps guide local initiatives and has been instrumental in organizing and participating in candidate interviews and Government Affairs Committee coffee hours with elected officials. A dedicated supporter of RPAC, Todd is a familiar face at fundraising events and an active contributor to their success.
At the state level, Todd continues to elevate REALTOR® advocacy as Chair of the Michigan Realtors® Public Policy Committee, RPAC Trustee, and was recently elected to represent District 6 on the Michigan Realtors® Board of Directors. His engagement at the national level, including participation in Capitol Hill visits, reinforces his dedication to ensuring REALTORS® have a strong and respected voice in public policy. Recently recognized with the Michigan Realtors® REALTOR® Active in Politics award at the state convention, Todd continues to embody leadership and service at every level.
