I am excited to be running for the District 4 Director position on the GMAR Board of Directors. Having actively served on multiple committees, I have gained valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing our association and our members. I am eager to continue contributing by stepping into a leadership role where I can help guide initiatives that support our profession, strengthen our community, and advance GMAR’s mission. I am committed to bringing collaboration, integrity, and forward-thinking to the Board, and I welcome the opportunity to serve and represent my fellow REALTORS®.
Throughout my decade in the industry, I have devoted myself to bettering our profession and showing up when it matters most. Whether through thousands of hours of community service, active participation in GMAR’s Government Affairs Committee, or engagement at Michigan REALTORS® events like Capitol Day and the annual conference, I’ve made it a priority to contribute my time, energy, and voice to the REALTOR® community. My goal has always been to strengthen our profession, advocate for our members, and ensure that we remain trusted leaders in the eyes of the public.
At the national level, I’ve proudly represented Michigan REALTORS® at the NAR Legislative Meetings in Washington, D.C., and most recently spoke on a panel at the 25th Anniversary celebration of REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30. As a member of the Class of 2020, it was an honor to share my perspective alongside other past honorees and to highlight the value of collaboration and innovation within our industry. These opportunities have allowed me to ensure that GMAR’s voice is heard in conversations that impact REALTORS® nationwide.
As Broker/Owner of Maiga Homes Luxury Real Estate and a licensed loan officer, I understand firsthand the challenges our members face in today’s market. I am committed to leveraging that knowledge to strengthen resources, education, and opportunities for REALTORS®, while continuing to advocate for policies that protect homeownership and our industry’s future.
It would be an honor to serve on the GMAR Board of Directors representing District 6. I believe deeply in collaboration, transparency, and service, and I am dedicated to ensuring that the interests of our members are strongly represented in decisions that shape our industry. By voting, you are affirming not just my commitment, but also a vision of an association where REALTORS® are empowered, respected, and equipped to lead.
I am running for the Ann Arbor Area Chapter Director position because I have treasured my leadership experiences at the local and state level and want to continue to grow in leadership and give back to our Realtor community. Our industry is always under attack and has many issues that need to be addressed, and I want to be part of the discussion, I want to be in the room where it happens. I strive to always be fair and act with integrity in all situations. I promise to represent all Realtors and work towards our common goals.
I have always been very active in my local board and community and feel that even though I have served at the state level, it is important to stay active at the local level. Since merging with GMAR, I believe it opens more opportunities to be involved in new ways. I serve on many committees for the Ann Arbor Area Chapter, have joined several GMAR committees, and attend all the events I can. In the last several years, I have attended all the Michigan Realtors’ Broker Summit, Achieve and Annual Conferences, and many of the NAR Annual Conferences.
I have been married to my husband Cliff (Corporate Tax Director, CPA) for 20 years, we have a wonderful 13-year-old son, Evan, who is finishing Middle School, and adorable pup Rosie. We are all very active in our community and volunteer for many groups and events. You will see us at every Friday Night Music and 3rd Thursday in the Summer. We love our community and constantly give back to it with time, talent, and treasure.
I would be honored to represent our Ann Arbor Area Chapter as a GMAR Board of Director and appreciate your consideration. Thank you.
I am both excited and honored to be nominated as a candidate for the GMAR Board of Directors. As a second-generation Realtor® I have decades of appreciation for the professional environment fostered by a strong Board of Realtors®. I look forward to the opportunity to repay that appreciation with a term on the GMAR Board of Directors.
My real estate career has spanned more than 20 years over which I have participated in thousands of transactions. During this time, I served in a variety of capacities including advocating for consumers, real estate professionals, and corporate clients. I am a licensed attorney in the States of Michigan and Florida and maintain membership in the Real Property Section of each bar association.
In my current role as an Associate Broker and Regional Sales Manager with Reinhart Realtors I enjoy assisting Realtors® in all aspects of their profession. I also count myself fortunate to be able to help orchestrate office fundraising activities for multiple charities but specifically including Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley, Fisher House Ann Arbor, and United Way Ann Arbor. I thank you for your consideration and look forward to an opportunity to work further with you.
