    Tracy Rose

    District 6: Tracy Rose

Tracy graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School then earned her real estate license while attending the University of Michigan. As a member of the Western Wayne and Oakland County Board of REALTORS®, she began her real estate career in Northville, Michigan at Coldwell Banker. At that time, the fax machine was cutting edge technology.  It was the era of driving clients around, using AAA paper maps with routes highlighted, and presenting offers in person at the seller’s kitchen table, with both agents present.

In 1994, she was hired by Murray’s Discount Auto Stores to manage the Real Estate department while Murray’s grew from 43 stores to 78 stores and expanded into the Chicago market.  She was involved in site selection, lease negotiation, and store build-outs.

After Murrays period of rapid expansion had been completed, Tracy worked as a consultant for a Washtenaw area developer during land acquisition, platting, infrastructure installation, and lot sales. Over time, she has worked with many planning commissions, zoning boards, and municipalities to obtain various approvals on numerous projects.

Currently Tracy works full-time with residential and commercial real estate clients Ann Arbor, Western Wayne, and surrounding areas.   From 2014 - 2023, Tracy served as a Director on the Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS®, Treasurer in 2020 and President in 2022.  Additionally, Tracy sits on the Board of Review in her local municipality. She participated in the Michigan Realtors Leadership Academy in 2020-2021.

She has 4 children, has hosted two USA Hockey Players, two Italian, and one Spanish exchange student in her home.  Tracy has served on several boards, the Catholic Central Mothers Club, and been a chairperson for many school, local municipalities and church committees.  Tracy enjoys teaching and has written a real estate advice column for a local newspaper.

    Mary Ross

    District 8: Mary Ross

Mary has been proudly wearing the REALTOR® R since the early 1990's, starting her career at Carol Bollo and Associates.  She moved to Coldwell Banker Trenton as a co-owner and earned her Associate Broker license as soon as she possibly could so she could be an officer in the company. Through the years she has been to several offices and now hangs her license at Power House Realty Group.

2003 was one of the highlights of her career as she served the members of DRAR (now SEBAR) as their President and again in 2016.  She has been on all of their committees and sat on the Board of Directors for nine years.  During that time, they were instrumental in working with Habitat for Humanity and built two homes in the downriver area.

She sat on the Board of Directors at Michigan Realtors (MAR) and worked on the convention task force for several years.

Becoming a GMAR member has helped round out her career. The strong leadership is something she has admired throughout my time serving the Realtor community.

At GMAR, she has served on the affiliate committee and as an affiliate member of the Board of Directors.  Currently, she was asked to fill out the remaining term of a member.

She believes she has the skills and dedication to serve the members of GMAR and would be honored to receive your vote.
