    #Greater things happen!

    The Greater Realtor Foundation improves lives by offering financial assistance and other support to those in need.

    The Greater Realtors® Foundation relies entirely on donations to exist and help members. The Greater Realtors® Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so contributions from all sources are tax-deductible.


    The Greater Realtors® Foundation, established in 2018, provides financial assistance through various grant programs for property disaster relief and disability-adaption projects to individuals, families, and non-profit agencies. Benevolent funding assistance is also available to help with various costs associated with extreme financial hardships, due to prolonged illness, a catastrophic event or accident, or similar occurrence beyond the control of the party receiving the assistance.

    Michigan Realtors® is the state’s largest professional real estate trade association, dedicated to serving more than 24,000 members across the state. Their mission is to be “the recognized public policy and legal advocate for private property rights and the real estate industry, and the recognized statewide resource for professional development, knowledge exchange, and business service.”

  • Home Builders Association of Michigan Logo

    A local, non-profit association for the home building and remodeling industry in southeastern Michigan. HBA helps members provide homeowners and potential homeowners with high-quality new homes and remodeled homes that are safer, more energy-efficient, and technologically advanced. 

  • CBOR Logo

    The Commercial Board of REALTORS® provides leadership, services, education, and professional standards to commercial real estate practitioners in Michigan. Membership is comprised of all regions within the State of Michigan.

    A statewide database of commercial properties (CPIX.net), commercial continuing education, local and statewide networking sessions, grievance and standards committees, commercial forms, and a unified voice relative to the commercial's legislative issues REALTOR® are some of the many benefits of membership.

    GMAR established a formal partnership with CBOR several years ago to provide our members with a greater opportunity to diversify or completely change their business model. Our partnership with CBOR has brought basic commercial training to our members, plus a chance to look at a different aspect of our industry. The partnership features basic services from CBOR and a chance to sample the CBOR listing database. Even a free membership program allows GMAR members to try the services before they jump in completely.

  • Fair Housing Center of Metro-Detroit Logo

    The Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that supports and encourages equal housing opportunities in the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Established in 1977, the Center is the oldest fair housing center in Michigan and one of the nation's oldest fair housing centers. The Center’s mission is to ensure equal access to housing without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, and all other protected class categories under federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws and ordinances.
