SOUTHFIELD, MI. (September 20, 2023) – GMAR continues its dedication to students who are looking to attend college, university, or trade school in the state of Michigan by awarding its Higher Education Scholarship to local area students graduating in the class of 2023.

Through GMAR’s Higher Education Scholarship, nearly $20,000 was distributed among twenty-three students who are graduating seniors of GMAR members. The purpose of this fund is to encourage local high school seniors to continue their formal education at Michigan colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher learning.

To qualify, GMAR members applied on behalf of their children for the scholarship in February of this year and the students were committed to attending college, university, or trade school here in the state of Michigan. The scholarship class of 2023 will be attending thirteen colleges and universities across the state of Michigan, including the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Hillsdale College, Wayne State University, Schoolcraft College and more.
