GMAR Names its 2023 REALTOR® of the Year and REALTOR® Active in Politics

SOUTHFIELD, MI. (September 15, 2023) – Two of the highest honors for members of the Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (GMAR) were announced today, with formal recognition coming at GMAR’s Annual Meeting in November. Katie Weaver has been named the 2023 REALTOR® of the Year and Jaye Sanders has been recognized as GMAR’s REALTOR® Active in Politics.

Katie’s outstanding commitment to the real estate community goes beyond her client interactions.  She is actively involved in various industry organizations and community initiatives, demonstrating her commitment to giving back and enriching the lives of those around her. Katie’s remarkable real estate accomplishments have earned her the respect of her peers and positively impacted countless individuals and families.  Her genuine concern for clients’ needs, as well as her tireless effort and exceptional results have truly set her apart as an industry leader. For these reasons, GMAR is proud to name Katie Weaver as our 2023 REALTOR® of the Year.

Jaye Sanders currently serves on the Michigan REALTORS Public Policy Committee, GMAR’s Board of Directors, GMAR’s Government Relations and RPAC Committees, and is an RPAC Crystal R President’s Circle Major Investor.  As a member of the Berkley Citizen’s Council, Jaye works in support of the City Council while also serving as a bridge between the community and the council.  For her commitment to connecting REALTORS® to local elected officials, GMAR is proud to name Jaye Sanders as our 2023 REALTOR® Active in Politics award recipient.
