GMAR Scholarship Application

Each year, GMAR awards $25,000 in scholarships to members looking to further their career with specialized education and our member's children graduating and committed to attending a Michigan college, university, or trade school.

Scholarships are awarded to recipients as reimbursements ranging from $100 to $1,000 per year.

HIGHER EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

The Higher Education Scholarship is available to graduating high school senior children of GMAR REALTOR® members looking to attend a Michigan school for all career choices.

1. Must be a graduating high school senior of an active GMAR REALTOR® member who is in good standing.
2. Must attend a school of higher learning in the state of Michigan.
3. Must submit high school transcripts and ACT/SAT scores.

REALTOR® MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum one year’s experience within the real estate industry
2. Must be a Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® member in good standing
3. Must have the recommendation of the managing broker, a Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® member
4. Classes, designations, or certifications must be completed within 1 year of receiving a scholarship
5. Payment is reimbursed with successful attainment of the Designation or Certification
