Over the last few years, volunteers from GMAR and their children, friends, and family members spent many hours helping to better REALTOR® Park for community members. Volunteers picked weeds, painted playground equipment, trimmed trees, bushes, and built and installed Little Libraries.

Continuing our efforts to make a difference, in 2018, GMAR began planning another clean-up day. With the Mayor's office commitment to remove old park structures, the GMAR Board of Directors unanimously voted to provide $42,000 for brand new ADA compliant equipment for the park, which now bears the Realtor® name.

"We are grateful to GMAR and the Realtor® community for being an exemplary community steward. It is vitally important for the City of Royal Oak to work with business leaders, like GMAR, to promote a high quality of life in our city," said Royal Oak Mayor Mike Fournier.

On June 1st, we were able to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of Realtor® Park with members of the Royal Oak Community, City Council, and GMAR family! It’s often said, “Realtors® sell communities, not just homes or properties,” and at GMAR, we believe that to be true.

Realtor Park is home to a soccer field used by the Royal Oak Football Club, the third-largest youth soccer league in Michigan. Neighbors and soccer visitors will enjoy this new equipment for many years to come.
