GMAR has worked with the National Association of REALTORS® to obtain a Fair Housing Grant to support hosting the Bias Override training course in Southeast Michigan on October 6th, reinforcing its commitment to fair housing education, professional responsibility and housing access.

The grant award is made possible by the National Association of REALTORS® as part of its Community Development Advocacy program, which empowers REALTOR® associations to strengthen their communities through effective advocacy, partnerships, and on-the-ground initiatives.

SOUTHFIELD, MI. (May 16, 2023) – The Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (GMAR) will be hosting a homeownership education course in their Southfield classroom on Monday, May 22, 2023, 10 am – 2 pm.  Completion of a homebuyer education course is a requirement of all down payment assistance programs, and after completion attendees will receive a certificate of completion that is valid for 12 months.
