Today, the Greater Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® (GMAR) has announced its endorsement of Mai Xiong in Michigan’s 13th House District, and Andrea Rutkowski in Michigan’s 25th House District. GMAR supports public policies and candidates that build strong communities, protect property interests, and promote a vibrant business environment.
The Primary will be held on January 30, 2024 and the General Election will be held on April 16th, 2024.

Mai Xiong – 13th District

Mai Xiong has been a friend of GMAR and REALTORS® for many years. As a Macomb County Commissioner, she has been a partner that REALTORS® can rely on to promote homeownership, increasing housing supply, and minimize regulatory burdens that increase costs.
Andrea Rutkowski – 25th District
Westland, Wayne, Dearborn Heights and Canton Township
Andrea Rutkowski is the current City Council President Pro-Tem in Westland, which makes up the majority of the 25th District. On the City Council, she has prioritized public safety, infrastructure, and small businesses. She previously worked in real estate and mortgage lending, and has a deep understanding of how public policy can affect homeownership.
